Here are a few questions that we have come up with that we thought that you might have. If you have a question, please feel free to email us and we will post your question also.

Q: How many lights do we have?

A: We have just over 29,000 lights.

Q: How long does it take us to put everything up?

A: It takes about 4 weekends for all of us to put everything up and make sure that it is where we want it in the yard.

Q: How do you make the lights move?

A: We use 32 channels from a system created by Light-O-Rama (LOR). It is basically a computer program that you can personalize to your display. Jim spends hours sequencing the lights. About 30 seconds of the song could take him about 4 to 5 hours to sequence to the beat and/or melody of the song. So a 3 minute song could take up to 30 to 40 hours to complete.

Q: How am I able to hear the music in my car?

A: It is transmitted from our laptop via a 1mW FM transmitter from EDM that I had to assemble.

Q: How many extension cords do we have?

A: We have about 1,700 feet of cords crisscrossing the yard.

Q: How much engery do the lights consume?

A: It varies throughout the shows. When the lights all are turned on they will pull 40 amps.
