Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world. John 8:12a Our Story You may ask why we do all of this; well, we are glad that you asked. Let us tell you our story . . . This all started out as a hobby. We started with just a couple of deer and grew from there. Putting up Christmas decorations every year and sharing our hobby with others to bring them joy and beauty is something that brings happiness to us. We also enjoy spending time together as a family and this is just one more way that we can do that. You may also ask why we call our display "Living Lights". Well, this name has a dual meaning. At first look, you will see the first meaning. As you can see the lights are synced to music. You can hear the music on your car radio at the station listed on the sign. The second reason is that as Christians, we are instructed to be lights in this world of darkness. Christ instructs us to "let your light so shine before men". (Matthew 5:16a KJV) Christ is the one true Light and only He can save you from your sin to ensure that you will spend eternity with Him in Heaven. If you would like to know more about Christ and how you can accept Him into your heart and life, please contact us and we would be thrilled to share with you. Not only is this year the first year that we are going to be animated and have "living lights", but it will also be the first year that we will be collecting for Easter Seals. We will have a contribution box and will also be hosting a charity night to kick off the season of giving. So, please come join us if you can. More details will come as we pull the event together.
