January:
This month I finished sequencing my first song (TSO Christmas Eve Sarajevo). It was a fun, yet challenging song, it took me approximately 40 hours to complete. Later in the month I upgraded my software to LORII. This upgrade really made the sequencing easier and more user friendly. I still need to find materials for my mini trees.
February:
February brought some re-working of my first sequence due to a surprise from Light-O-Rama. Dan announced a "Secret Sale" on all his Planet Christmas controllers. With this sale I was able to increase my number of channels from 16 to 32, which made me very happy! During late Februrary I started constructing my mini trees for the front border of my display. I spent a week looking all over for the tomato cages and finally found them at Lowes. I need to finish my mini trees, assemble my boards when they arrive, figure out a roof grid for the house, and start researching FM Transmitters.
March:
My controllers arrived the first week of March and look fairly simple to assemble, all with the help of my friend of course! This month I discovered EDM FM Transmitters. With the help of a friend on Planet Christmas and the wonderful people from EDM I found exactly what I needed for a very low price. I have now finished 4 of my 6 mini trees, but am still waiting to assemble my boards. Life has been busy so this project has been postponed, hopefully I can get them assembled along with my FM Transmitter next month. I need to finish my last two mini trees, construct my tune to signs, and fine tune my sequences after the boards are assembled.
